We need to be ever mindful that Christ is coming back and the way He is coming back. Our friends and family who are unbelievers most likely do not realize what’s coming. Jesus and the apostles refer to this “as being like in the days of Noah.” While this day is good news to us, as it was to Noah in his preparations, it will be a terrible day to many. He’s coming back to judge the living and the dead. Considering the Day, God calls us to be awake and sober. To be diligent in our faith as those with a real, great hope of Jesus returning and a deep concern for those who don’t know Christ yet (2 Cor. 5:11 “By the Fear of the Lord, we persuade men).
