Jesus brings the calm. When life's storms rage around us, our instinct is often to focus on the tempest itself, but Jesus calls us to a different response. He invites us to sit with Him, to rest in His unwavering presence, and to find calm amid the turbulence. This passage reminds us that no matter how tumultuous our circumstances, Jesus brings the calm over the tumultuous waves of life. Sit with the Lord. Instead of sitting with your problems, sit with the Lord. Instead of meditating on your problems, meditate on His promises.
