A story is told of a man who was fully surrendered to God. With determined purpose, he chose a mission that would give the gospel to an empire. The cost? His life. Without regret, he followed God. He expressed his faith like this, “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.” For the Apostle Paul, the battle that costs everything is the victory that changes eternity. God intended the Christian home to be a shelter from the storm. The godly family is the learning center of life. It is in the family where it is normal to experience that habitat for happiness, contentment, and wisdom. This is the reality when Christ is at the core of the family. Family is the place where integrity and godly character are built. ...
